It was just like the good 'ole days to be with Jenny, Eric, Isaac, and Grace!!!....just in Texas instead. :) What a treat to have them come visit! (it helps that Jenny also has a brother that lives in the area) Here are a few of the pics while they were here...
We heard about a waterfall, so we went to check it out and renamed it the "water-slant". The kids liked hiking around and throwing rocks in the water. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly that day to hop in.
I think the highlight of the day was the exotic zoo. We rode this little wagon dealio and got to feed all the animals. Camels, zebras, lots of deer, elk, ostrich, and others. Pretty cool.
Then they have a small petting zoo area. Kind of funny...the animals like to nibble on your clothes. This pic looks like it's eating Caleb's arm. He was a good sport about it:)
Mike was using up the rest of our food. It was pretty funny to watch. The animals loved him and just kept following him around.
We went to the botanical gardens. Here are the buddies...

We headed up to the River on a warmer day and the boys tested out a couple tubes...
Eden and Grace enjoyed a game with the blanket and Jenny's creativity. :)
Then off to roast hot dogs and marshmallows! Mmmmmm..., no, Max is not eating a hot dog...just the bun. :)

What a FUN week!!! Soooooo glad they made the effort to come :)
