October in Chicagoland by Michael Ray Van Dusen

Apple picking was really enjoyable with the Nygards. Thanks to the Nygards for bringing bug spray. You can't see the flesh eating flies that were eating us. We all still got bit a few times even with the bug spray.

Max, Addi, Caleb, and Livi enjoying picking their own apples.

Max must have eaten at least three apples while we were there. Apples are one of the foods Max will eat (Besides Dominos pizza, cheese sandwiches, and chicken nuggets) and he doesn't make us cut off the skins like Caleb. The kids loved the tractor ride.

Our playhouse disney live concert was fun. Look how high tigger can jump.

Ahhhhh. Cute.

This and the next picture needs to be on a magazine. Anyone have any hookups?

This was the highlight of Bengston's Pumpkin farm. The Pig Races! It was pretty funny watching the faster pigs above and then seeing the fat pigs below waddling to the end. One of them had to take a breather in between and talk in the microphone. #2 was the lucky one on all 3 races.

This was one of the cool parts of Bengstons. A real fake cow that you can milk or should I say water. Water came out after a good tug on the teat. The kids and Dad were fascinated.

The animals like carrots. If we could only hold carrots in front of Max and Caleb's mouths. Leanna will attest, we have had bad experience at making kids eat their veggies. No more. (hint: I didn't know that putting corn on your tongue elicits projectile vomiting)

Now this is a good lookin family.

We decided to go take advantage of the beautiful colors in our neighborhood with the Allens. We might send one of these out in Christmas cards. We had some great lighting and then the sun set too soon.

Couldn't resist putting in the silly face picture. Eric wins the prize, but Leanna is trying really hard at inverting her arms. Photo credits to Caleb Michael.

Someone taught Isaac pretty good how to make a scary face. Yikes.
Ahhhhhhhh. Cute
What a sweetie.

Wow busy little Mama. Tons of fun and great pictures. I must admit seeing a field of pumpkins makes me crave pie.
