Finally finished!

I finally got over my cold (gotta love those when you're pregnant....but I have to say I'd rather deal with cold symptoms than the flu or puking!!) and was able to finish the painting project during naps. The boys helped a bit with the priming, but they weren't invited for the real deal.

I had to include this one just for the look...it gets even more dramatic, but this is the one I captured on camera. This is when Max doesn't get his way, or at least it's the initial phase. He usually ends up on the floor kicking and screaming, but in the mild tantrums, we just get the eyes rolled up. I can't even remember what happened, but he decided he was done painting and went to watch Barney.

I wish the pic showed the color better. But you can tell it's a major improvement from the yummy yellow. :) I didn't do too bad for a rookie. The initial pink was a bit brighter than I wanted, so with a little coaching from my sisters, I toned it down to just the right shade. Now we just have to hang a few things on the walls....and decide on a name! Actually, I think we have it narrowed down to one of the following: Lizzy, Eden, Elise, or Chloe. Mike is really pulling for Eden. I told him I would make a deal...we could name this girl Eden as long as the next girl could be Anna or Annie. :) So far he hasn't committed.
