Funny Story and Pics

First off, the funny story of the week: I was feeding Eden and Max came in and handed me the glass of water that was sitting by me. Then said, "Want some more?" He ran off to the bathroom to fill it up and came back. I asked Mike where he got the water from and he said, "The toilet" and then gave me the big sarcasm smile. So I drank the water and Max ran to get me more. Well, a few minutes later Caleb comes in with a glass of water for me with a big smile. I thanked him and asked him where he got it (I just happened to notice the whole cup was quite wet). He said, "The toilet" with a big grin on his face. I said, "No really, where did you get it?" He repeated his answer with a little more firmness. My facial expression immediately changed and he started to defend himself...his first words were, "I WASHED MY HANDS TWO TIMES!!" I thought I would fall off my rocker. Needless-to-say, Caleb didn't catch on to Mike's sarcastic comment to Max!

Here are some recent pics of the boys. We went on an outing to the Arboretum and the Zoo while grandma was still here. We thought we could probably handle 3 kids with 3 adults! It was great to get outside. This is the Arboretum.

At the zoo they also have a separate petting zoo...so the goats got a good combing from the boys.
They always love the merry-go-round.
I found Caleb asleep on my bed with these cool headphones on. He was patiently waiting for me to read him a story before naps, but Eden wasn't quite cooperating and he fell asleep.
Our first picnic outside...yeah!!

Coming home from church the other day Max piped up and said, "Caweb is my best broder." I thought that was pretty sweet since Max is usually the one that gets picked on. It's all about unconditional love, right? I love those sweet moments.

Oh yuck! Good thing you asked where the water came from so you didn't end up drinking it.

I'm glad you were able to get out and enjoy the sun while your mom was in town.
